We would love to see our community members come out and support this event as we partner with TU Impact, formally known as the Big Event to clean up, trim, weed and mulch our community green spaces. 

TU Impact focuses on fostering connections with communities that are committed to environmental sustainability, economic security, social well-being, and civic engagement.

This event starts at the Southland Hills mini park across from the 500 block of Alabama by Bosley Ave. 

VOLUNTEERS! WE NEED YOU!

Looking for volunteers to: 

• Hand out and collect tools and supplies

• Plant identification 

• Overseeing student groups 

  • Mini Park 

  • Southland Hill Sign 

  • Island at the base of Chesapeake and Dixie (lower side) 

  • Small circle at Dixie and Alabama 

  • Ivy removal (trail from Alabama to Chesapeake) 

• Manual labor - weeding, mulching, removing vines
