Join Us … We are inviting neighbors to sign up for one of the following Southland Hills Improvement Association's committees so that we may continue to come up with new ideas from all neighbors rather than just the board members themselves. You may contribute as much or as little time as possible. We especially need help with the Social Committee and Communications Commitee (website, newsletter, welcome baskets, delivery of newsletter) since they are growing. Please notify the individual chairpersons.
It's a great way to meet your neighbors and help to continue to make our neighborhood a great place to live!
Do you have a green thumb? If so, please consider joining the neighborhood's garden committee. The committee will be responsible for coordinating plantings in the public area as well as possibly creating additional community gardens. One resident is interested in getting some land donated so the neighborhood could have a community garden like the one across from Towson Presbyterian Church. Other options might be available, too, but the board needs a committee to discuss those things. If you're interested, e-mail Amy Welling (please see directory for address).
